Getting Vincent

Ok, I’m having some trouble opening the safe with the "lost number" boss in it. I know the combination from the notes and the clues. Sadly every time I try to open the safe the timer dissapears after the last input and says "fail". I’ve gotten the fact that like a real combination locker you cannot go past a number and then back to it. Either my copy of the game is scratched or has some other problem with it, or I’m doing something wrong, probably the latter. So anyone that knows something that I might be doing wrong please comment on it so I know of it. Thanks

It should let you in if you do it in the right amount of time.

i sometimes pass the number and it still works fine for me. I think it all depends on the time limit and how fast you input the numbers. I always saw that for me it never let me succeed if i entered the numbers past 3 seconds.

I couldnt open it when I went past the numbers.Make sure the code is right.I could tell you if you want….

no, like you would put in the correct numbers, but if you accidently passed the number you can go back and put it in. It still worked, even if i didn land on them perfectly.

You have to go to Right 36 without passing 36, left 10 without passing 10, right 59 without passing 59, right 97 without passing 97. I used to have the same problem.

yeah, if you go over one of the numbers, even by accident (the safe dial is really sensitive) you wont open it.

Excactly, and if your controller is really sensitive too, you’re screwed.

if u still dont have the code and if u fink its wrong or sumfin here it is
memorise then do it unless ur maby turning it that amount instead of turning it to that number

its probably best to have a controller with stiff buttons, so u dont go over the nums.
i used a regular controller and it was kinda hard, cauze i kept going 1 over the number. u can easily do the last 2 #’s w/o screwing up, if ur good.

But if you use a stiff controller, make sure it doesn’t get stuck to the side.
I had no problems with this :), I used the PC Version and a Microsoft Sidewinder pad, whick had perfect buttons and direction pads on it.
