George Miller WILL make another Mad Max film. Frankie Say "Relax."

So take your head out of the oven, unclench, unwet the bed, untwist your knickers. Here’s the what the man himself had to say about the interview that drove many fans to despair:

"That was a completely garbled interview. I was in New York and it was so noisy and the journalist was asking me questions on a red carpet at the National Board of Review/ She completely got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true. I said no, [another ‘Mad Max’ movie] will not be next, and she took that to mean I never wanted to make another ‘Mad Max.’ It won’t necessarily be next, but I have two more stories."

Dr. Miller will go back to the Wastelands, just not right now. Let the man enjoy the success that took 15 years of his life in planning, design, delays and finally, execution. This is a good lesson that the Internet often gets it wrong in its mania to get it first. Warner took a lot of fire on this forum, becoming instant scapegoat for a lot of fans.

Remember, just because you can pull the trigger, doesn’t mean you must pull the trigger.
