GCN/Wii Video Ripping – Is the discussion acceptable here?

And if so, which board would be the place to place my topics in question? Specifically, I’m wondering who here is able to extract the video files from Wii and GCN disks in relation to the games I’m targeting.

No, I’m not asking for the "source" itself, just the video files in question for extraction from the Wii/GCN discs themselves.

I’d post this in general gaming for best results, but tbh I don’t know that there are a lot of people who’d know this here, you might get better results on a forum that’s more full of tech-oriented people. Feel free to try though.

Why not do it like anyone else and… simply record them?

Tried that too; but someone on another forums said that there might be some picture quality loss because of it, I believe. That’s why I’m asking (and also sending a few PMs) to folks that are able to extract specified videos I’m looking for successfully. 🙂
