Gambit Weirdness, plz help.

Hey I don’t know if anyone can help me I was just about to go and try to get the deathbringer and i ran into a snag. I have steal as a technick learnt and bought, but for some reason it doesnt appear as a gambit action and I cant equip it, this is the same for charge. The action itself isn’t appearing in the list of choices, like right now I can only put in libra and something else, the other technicks I have don’t show up in there. There is only question marks. Is there something wrong with the game or have I not done something right?

Either you missed it, it’s on the second last page of possible actions you can choose of. Or, you don’t have the license for stealing.

You start the game with the license for Steal, though, iirc.

You need to clear the gambit first. If the gambit’s target is set to, say, an ally or a foe, then you won’t be able to set an action that can only be targeted for yourself, like Libra or Charge.

Maybe your target is for Self or an Ally, that’s why it’s not allowing you to choose Steal.

Not everyone begins the game with the gambit steal. Also, most prefered Gambit for steal is: Foe HP = 100% -> Steal

Yeah. Although if I had it my way, the Gambit would be Foe Has Item to Steal -> Steal. That whole thing really bugged me.

P.S.: You purchased the technick, but have you purchased the gambits?

I prefer 100% over steal if possibleif it excisted, so eventually you’d steal succesfully. But that way, you won’t have one character trying to steal all the time from possibly stronger enemies when he could be helping out.

If I really want to get a specific item, I just set that Gambit up for everyone.

I figured it out I’m a bit of retard, the steal option shows up underneath the items area for some reason and I just never noticed it. Thanks anyway lads.
