From about April 7 through today, April 12, I’ve been having difficulty with the site loading at all for me. It times out, and will not load, no matter what browser I am using, and yet, I have strong internet connection. So, is this a common problem with others, or something unique to my region?

It seems to be a vbulletin issue. I’m suffering the same problems with other vbulletin forums at the moment – indeed, I got a timeout trying to reply to this thread through my laptop browser, so I’ve had to retype this through my tablet.
So that brings me to ask: what browsers are we using? The browser I’m having problems with is Firefox 52.0.2 32 bit.

I don’t think the Web browsers we’re using have something to do with this technical issue; personally, I’ve been experiencing slowdowns and errors with Microsoft Edge/Mozilla Firefox/Google Chrome.

Are you saying it’s a vbulletin issue? Because as I said, the exact same is happening with other vbulletin forums I visit, and I bet if other people tried it, they’d likely have the same result.
For instance, I’m also a member of tombraiderforums.com – and the exact same thing has been happening there. The only vbulletin forum I have yet to see it happen on – and that’s because I don’t visit often – is the official SEGA forum.

Well, I believe the issue has something to do with Final Fantasy Shrine’s server/its vBulletin "configuration", actually; Shrine’s the only vBulletin forum where I’m experiencing slowdowns and the likes.
(It) has been creepy to read this is happening also elsewhere for you, though, maybe folks behind the development of Firefox screwed up something again.

It’s possible. Firefox was updated today and that update seems to have fixed the problem.
EDIT: Nope, still happening.
