How was the game? I was thinking of getting the game on the virtual console for the Wii but I’m not too sure about getting it yet.

Hum never finished it, but it seems like a good game from what I played. I always end up starting over and just leave off eventually…but I am still convinced that it’s just me not wanting to play it on my PC that I don’t finish it. So yea…good game from what I played :shrugs:

Yes, Actually the First one is Better than the second, since square made the first one. I thought it was better anyway

Nah, they just published it, gave it an ugly boxart, and named the main character Zack >_> You’re just being a biased fanboy. The vast majority agrees the second one is a much better game in every possible way.

So yeah, get it. It’s one of my all time favorites.

yeah, i kind of have to agree, cause in my opinion, i find a better storyline, and music in the second game

The 1st one was pointless. For no reason what so ever you moved from one city to the next with no reason for doing anything. There really was no story. It was crappy. The 2nd actually had a story. And was a good old school RPG over all. Sadly overlooked by many, though. 🙁

Breath of Fire 2 is one of the greatest games RPG games as far as I’m concerned. It have a very progressive storyline for video games at the time. Especially in the U.S., and the game itself if one of the most fun games you could ever play. So yes, GET IT!

Also you can’t forget Bow. I dunno…something about him is loveable O_o. Maybe cuz he’s a humanoid dog lol.

I never played the first BoF, but fell in love with the second. Good story and plot, and great characters too. I still have my copy on SNES and the GBA version, which on the GBA version I finally finished it, with everything accomplished 🙂

as the many other members have said, BoF II is a worthy buy; i for one still play my gba version of it, and the story is something you wouldn’t expect in a country that edits most religious overtones

Breath of Fire II is good, as well as III…. but I never finished either. I finished I. That was alright. Maybe one day I’ll go back and play III again…

I finally did get the game yesterday (it took a while to find some money) and so far the game seems good. I haven’t got far at all, I’m supposed to be looking for someones pet but I ended up finding a cave. I hope thats where I’m supposed to go.

But whats up with Bow, he’s a dog thing. didn’t expect to get a weird character like that right at the beginning.

Breath of Fire is filled with weird creatures, cat girls, dog men, flying girls, monkeys, etc.

BoF 1 is a great beginner’s game for the first time RPG player.
BoF 1, 2, 3 seems to be a trilogy of sorts.
Capcom’s development team should have beat the crap out Square’s translation team over the first one.(Tyr=Myria. Bleu=Deis)
BoF 4 is very challenging.
BoF 2 Nina is the best one.
Every Ryu is the best.
