First fight of seymore

The first time you fight seymore everyone says hes really hard and they couldnt beat him but when i got to him i beat him first try and he was pretty easy.
he even used his summons overdrive and no one died. Did anyone else find him as easy as i did?

I found him pretty hard to beat the first time I fought him. But that’s probably just because I was way underleveled.

But after replaying the game and fighting him again, I found him to be a lot easier.

Yer I don’t no why everyone says his so hard. I was reading a walkthrough and he said watch out this will be your hardest battle yet. when I got the Seymour and beat him first try I was like he was easier then the first boss!!

I died alot of times but I got closer to victory each time ^_^

Wasn’t so hard.

It wasn’t that much of a challenge really, at least for me. But I guess I was trying to take my time and enjoy the experience, rather than just plough through it as fast as possible. As a result, I was pretty levelled up and, while I wouldn’t say I was certain of victory, I wasn’t exactly shaking in fear either.

I thought Seymore was a pretty good boss really. If I’d have been going as fast as possible he’d have been tougher.

Once he dismisses Anima, he becomes very powerful and is more than capable of KO’ing most of your characters with one hit of Firaga/Thundaga/Blizzaga/Waterga. I think that’s why many people found him difficult.

The only people who found him difficult are the ones who couldn’t be bothered to get the scan info from him. If you do have a sensor weapon equipped or cast scan on him, he’s ridiculously easy because it tells you his patterns. Then all you have to do is cast nul spells ahead of his attacks. If you use your brain a little bit, it’s one of the easiest battles in the entire game, and that’s saying something.

Just for the record, I didn’t find him difficult because of your reason. But it is easy to see why some people might.

By the way Prak, I find it interesting that you frequently attack FFX’s supposed lack of difficulty yet rarely mention the fact that FFX-2 was even easier to beat.

If someone said FFX-2 was hard, I’d give them the same treatment. You just hear it less often.
