So what exactly does this move do? I FINALLY got The End and it ain’t showing any signs of usefulness. What the F is wrong?

99999 damage. That’s all.

Were you expecting a fancy "The End" sequence like in VIII? I was too. Nah, you just go up and strike whatever enemy for 99999.

The damage it does is reduced every time you escape from battle. I’m guessing you escaped a lot to get your oversouls so it won’t be a lot of use to you right now in that case, but if you start a new game plus it’ll reset the counter and start doing 99999 damage then.

I love using Finale. It’s amazingly effective and as long as you don’t run away, you get 99,999. And if you do have to run away for some reason, you can just start another New Game Plus.

To be honest anyone who runs from battles in x-2 is a pussy. I love this game BUT..the battles..hmmm..easy.

Normally I would disagree because sometimes it’s just not worth the time to fight the battle and so you might run away because it was easy. However, the Charm Bangle is obtainable so early on in this game that there’s no reason to get into battles that you’d just want to run from.

No Encounters doesn’t work in Via Infinito, so yeah…

Wrong. No Encounters works just fine in Via Infinito. The only parts where it doesn’t work is if you smack into one of the roaming monsters, like the drakes.

I think the move is confusing too.

Agreed.

With the exception of some of some things on Via Infinito 80-100. I mean, some of those battles are fightable, but…. Chac? Concherer? No thanks. Unless someone here has a cheap way to kill them.

The cheap way to kill them is 777 with Random Reels / Pause trick.
