Final Fantasy XIII Demo

Apparently there will be a 2 hour playable FFXIII demo bundled with the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy Advent Children.

Will anyone purchase or repurchase FFAC just for the demo???

I’ve never seen Advent Children…is it any good? I’ve considered buying it but I havent played FF VII and I believe it carries on from that so would I be a little lost perhaps…?

Any good? Yea, if your into FFVII. There are some extras included with the dvd that have some back story.

Not sure it would be worth it for me. Although the Japanese PS3 games are not region locked on US PS3s, the Blu-ray movies are. I’d end up paying just for the demo. Not really worth it for me.

I’ll probably buy it although it depends on the price.

I won’t be buying myself. But a friend of mine has said he will be purchasing it. So i will be able to play it at least.

Still such a long wait before it even surfaces in Japan. Hardly seems worth it.

Yeah I will but not because of the DEMO. I suppose there will be some interesting bonuses about FFVII:AC or maybe about FFVII Universe.

I sold my DVD copy of FFAC, but if it’s gonna be BLU-RAY and come with an FFXIII demo…then i will most likely get it. Hopefully it won’t be uber short.

edit: Oh snap nevermind…2 hrs is worth it.

At the 2008 SquareEnix DKΣ3713 Party, it was announced that Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete will be released on March of 2009 in Japan and will be bundled with a demo version of Final Fantasy XIII along with the first HD released trailers of Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII, making them the first released trailers of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series

So this is still ways off. This game’s development has taken an eternity.

Has an actual release date been set?
i have looked for one but never found one, but i have seen websites allowing me to pre-order the game.

I won’t buy FFAC just for the FFXIII demo, but I would get a pirated copy maybe…

I think the release is set in march or somewhere around there. So far I’m having a friend in Japan send it to me, since I live in Europe the region lock on movies shouldn’t matter seeing as Japan has the same as Europe unless there’s some other region locks on Blu-ray discs.
