Okay, is the FFXI OST worth $100? ($50US) It’s a special edition…

"Final Fantasy XI may be the first online FF game, but it’s still a Final Fantasy game and that ensures at least one thing- a great soundtrack. The first pressing of this two disc soundtrack set will be a special limited edition version that includes special deluxe packaging, an exclusive photo book that will only be included with the limited edition first pressing, and an 8 and a half minute long DVD of "opening movie" FMV that also will only be available with the limited edition first pressing soundtrack set. Please be aware though that the DVD will be compatible only with NTSC format Region 2 DVD players.
Sony of Japan has announced that only 30,000 copies of the limited edition Final Fantasy XI soundtrack will be produced for distribution in Japan and the rest of the world.
The product number is SSCX-10067.
This is a limited release, so supply will be difficult after my initial order arrives. "

Should I get it?

If you are a hardcore fan you would. . . . I might get becuase of the rareness of it, and it might be valueable in the future.

personally I wouldn’t. If you are patient you will get the whole game for less than 100$. I always wait until prices drop. I never get it when it first comes out. I will be getting FFXI by the time everyone will be getting FF XII.

I tend to try and not spend a lot of money on stuff, so it probably wouldn’t be worth it to me.

Plus I’m not really excited about FFXI anyways. :B

If you REALLY want the Photobook or if you REALLY want the DVD opening movie which you won’t be able to play unless you have a Gameshark or some universal DVD player. But then again, does it cost 50 American dollars or $100 American dollars? If it’s 50, GO FOR IT.
