Final Fantasy X2 and GameShark2

Question:

I started up the GameShark2 and followed carefully the instructions:
1. Insert the GameShark disc
2. Select "Expert Cheat Mode"
3. Scroll down and select the game (in this case Final Fantasy X2)
4. Highlight the cheats
5. Press Start
6. Start the game with cheats on

After doing all of this about a million times. I still can’t get ANY of the cheats to actually work. The game starts as if there were no GameShark involved at all.

Any suggestions? I beat the game last night with regular play, but now I want to just run through it all maxed out. Please help…

But anyway, I’m not sure what your problem is. Does it work for other games, perhaps its broken?

It is a brand new gameshark. I haven’t actually tried it on any other games yet. I just didn’t know if there is some kind of secret behind it or what.

I would recommend trying it with another game if you haven’t already — see if that works, if it does / doesn’t, that might help you to pinpoint it more precisely.
