Overall, I liked the game. The character and story were good and so was the combat. It even brings back some old characters from the original Final Fantasy VII. One of the things I liked about was the combat. For one, if you decide to attack, and get attacked yourself, the game will continue the attack or move after the enemy attack is gone. Not only do you get to swing your sword around, you’re allowed to use a power up slot machine. It’s where the slots are made of pictures of characters that you’ve met in the game.

one of my favorite pieces from FFVII. all the notes seem right, but it just seems the mix is a little too cluttered and the tone color of the instruments kind of turn me away. they sound fake.
may i suggest looking into another DAW to rewire Reason with? i know Reason doesn’t allow VSTs but if you rewire Reason with another DAW, you will be able to use VSTs. why do i say this? because Reason is limited in the instrument department because the lack of VST support. more VST options = more realistic sounding instruments.
here are some orchestral VSTs to look into:
East West Symphonic Gold
L.A. Scoring Strings
Symphobia
