Any different music than the OST for the psp game?

Yes, rearranged and rerecorded.

None of the "covers" yet are right, the CD had no cover, per se, just a plain sheet of black paper with track names and title page. It was in a gilded box with game disc, though.

Also, this is from European Collector’s Edition. The full OST will be released tomorrow (or today) in Japan.

Did I mention I love this game… it’s the bestiest FF-related thing ever, I love the action-like approach.

You are, of course, correct; I should have explicitly stated that the first image was the cover art for the game itself (even if the link pretty much lays it out as such); given the lack of an actual cover art for this particular release, and since you went to the trouble to provide a mirror, I thought I’d leave them here for those so inclined.

Extra question in case anyone manages to get their hands on the full OST: are there full lyrics for the orchestral songs (eg. We Have Come, Guided Conclusion, Vermilion Fire)? I haven’t been able to find them anywhere… some people have tried transcribing them by ear, but that method’s always prone to errors.

Well, the PSP OST doesn’t have lyrics for those. And I think they won’t be giving the official lyrics in full OST either. But that is just a hunch of mine. Let’s hope it’s wrong.
