Hi there,

I own two copies of FFTA but none have a manual so I was wondering if anyone can tell me what link up with it is like? I read in the rumours section that you can trade items, but more interesting, fight with other players?

Is this true? How does it work? Do you fight against or with each other on a mission? Has anyone tried it and is it enjoyable?

Many thanks guys.

Okay, well it’s good if you have a copy of FFTA. Now you can use it. Thanks

No, I’m playing them on a nintendo ds, which doesn’t use the link cable needed. I’d need to buy 2 gameboy SPs and a link cable to do this.

I’ve also a few other GBA games that are two players and I’m calculating if it’s worth going out and grabbing two cheap GBSPs and a link cable for them.

Woah, long time since I played Tactics Advance.
I only tried this once and early on the game; at that moment, I could only battle against a boss or battle for KO’s. You can steal from the bosses, but at that time my skills weren’t the most useful, so I couldn’t steal weapons or abilities.

You can trade items and characters, being the first one a great option to get every, every little thing in the game, since you can trade steal weapons to a beginner’s savestate, so you can get armors and weapons from early bosses.
