final fantasy lengend of the crystals

how many episodes did they make cuz i can only find 2 videos? did they just stop makeing them or are they just realy hard to find

its a 4 episode OAV (Original Animated Video) series. Pretty common in anime. just 2 videos, 2 eps each.

i know what you are talking about.. i saw the both tapes in the video store like recently.. i just thought it was strange though.. :rolleyes: it was yesterday i saw it at Hollywood video.. They had some other shows like Blue Seed something like that..

only two tapes? i could’ve sworn i saw a third once…been lookin for it ever since too…hmmm maybe im crazy. cant see how there could be a third one tho…not after the 4th episode anyways

I’ve never actually seen any of them, but knew about there excistence, what are they like.

its a good anime if your into the fantasy anime’s, and like weird sky pirates, glowing arses, little dragons, and chocobo’s

It’s…not that good. I’m a die-hard FF fan (heck, I bought the movie) and I can say that it’s not too great. If FF is your life, then…POSSIBLY. But this anime is on the same level as the movie. Ugh. Sorry, guys, I really tried to like ’em both, but…I just can’t. 🙁

gotta learn to like them seperately, and not compare them to the games

I don’t know what you guys are talking about? The final fantasy anime is cool! Though i do kinda wish they’s have had more references to the games, other than the crystals and the kingdom of Tycoon.
Still, it’s way better than that sci-fi drop out FF: The spirits within. it’s too real in my opinion. You watch it, thinking it’s gonna be excellent coz it has the words ‘final fantasy’ in it, then it ends up being a run-of-the-mill sci-fi with a mediocre storyline…well that’s what I think.
As for the videos, there are only 2. That’s all. No more, no less.

I thought it was pretty good. It got me laughing a lot.

The anime takes place in the FF5 setting… Lenna is actually the Queen of Tycoon.. I’m not gonna say anymore. 😉

I’ve been looking for copies, to order off the Internet, but the only ones I can find are in dollars, so i’m going to have to search found for some lucky english bastard, and see if he will sell them to me.

I keep meaning to rent that from my anime video place, but I keep putting it off. I was under the impression that there was just one tape, though. Can someone clarify for me- exactly how many tapes are there? Oh, and if there is more then one, do they need to be watched in a certain order?

Like I said, there are only 2 tapes. The two tapes are Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. You should watch Vol. 1 first because, obviously, that’s the order the episodes go in. I am lucky enough to have found them at a garage sale, so I dont know where to get them, and no-one is getting their grubby little mitts on my copies!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Each tape has 2 episodes on it. For those of you who are math illiterate, that makes a total of 4 episodes, and, in watching them, they leave no indication that there are any more episodes that were made.
