Final Fantasy 9 Genesis.zip – 4shared.com – online file sharing and storage – download (http://www.4shared.com/zip/nzopxAKp/Final_Fantasy_9_Genesis.html)

NOTE: This is not actually the thread for the original Genesis title "Final Fantasy XI," rather, it is for "Final Fantasy IX." In one brief moment while I was typing this thread’s title my "I" and "X" keys switched places. My keyboard’s always playing pranks on me, silly thing.
DOUBLE NOTE: The title of the thread magically changed while I was away! I believe this may have been due to the endeavors of radliff, so thank you for that.

The songs that played in the background for the original Genesis title, Final Fantasy IX, brought to you in digital form.

The usual applies here from past FF-Gen entries: MIDI’s with a soundfont applied, every track from the game as far as I can tell, high quality MP3, tagged.

I don’t care about a ‘thank you’, that’s not why I’m doing this. These remix albums are here for you to take for granted, if the link conks out or you want to know something about how I make these, I can’t stop you from posting. Chances are I’ll reply soon enough. Additionally, I only upload to 4shared up until its bitter end, so if you want the goods, you’ll need an account on their site.

I might take requests and if you point me in the direction of some MIDIs you want mixed, I’d be even more inclined to do so.

NOTE: To whom it may concern, Final Fantasy 9 was originally a game for the PlayStation home console, not the SEGA Genesis. The above description is a work of fiction designed as a subtle joke, the likes of which some find more confusing than anything else.

I do, but only about 9 or 10 tracks, otherwise I would.

Yup, you’re right. Sorry about that. Do you know how I can change that?

i asked jessie; i think only an admin can do the change, maybe cause it affects the URL or so

I’m confused (and a quick googling did not yield an answer). FF9 was available for SEGA Genesis?

I’m sorry, it’s a joke, really. Final Fantasy 9 never appeared on the Genesis, it was indeed a PlayStation game. However, I took MIDI files of the whole soundtrack and applied a Genesis soundfont to them. This album is a Genesis remake of the Final Fantasy 9 soundtrack.
