Who would agree with me if I said FF2 was the best game ever. The game had everything that made the FF series what it is today, great story, hard bosses, life and death, friends and foes, love, betrail, and very cool characters. Yup FF2 is the best of the series if I had to pick one.

Hmm, gonna have to be a bit more descriptive than that.

Do you mean the Japanese FF2 that was on the NES/Famicom, or the American FF2 that is better known as FF4?

If it’s the American FF2/FF4, then I’ll agree with you entirely, since I love everything about the game.

If it’s the Japanese FF2, then I digress. I’ve played about 40% of the game on a translated ROM, and it’s not bad by any means…but it’s my least favorite of the early games. I like it…just not as much as FF4 or even FF1 or FF3, per se.
