final fantasy 7 , underwater materia

ok so i had the underwater materia but while a friend was playing my game he sold it , so how if possible can i get another one with out going back in save points ?

As for your question, ewww… I’m sorry but I think you might be out of luck sadly, as the Underwater materia is one-of-a-kind and can only be gained from the Kalm Traveller. However, because the item used to gain it is re-attainable (a la, the Guidebook by morphing a Ghost Ship in the Junon reactor tunnel), you might be able to regain another Underwater materia by giving him another guidebook.

I haven’t tried that so that’s a big assumption on my part though I’m sorry.

You never specified which version of the game you’re playing (PS, PC, PSN). If, perhaps, you’re playing the PC version, you could always use the JENOVA program (google it). Outside of that, if your friend legit sold it and it’s not just on one of your other characters you are, afaik, S.O.L.

But, honestly, the materia isn’t NEEDED. The fight it’s used for is 100% doable in the time limit imposed without the materia

Yeah, You can have infinite Underwater materia, just carry another guidebook to the old man at Kalm.

im about 100 % positive topopoz is right… reason being when i was younger i used to use a gameshark an cheat to get 99 desert roses an the traveler would give u a set of master materia for each rose..im assuming its the same with the guide book……yeah i used to cheat i thought it was fun…now im so good at the game i dont need to haha
