Final fantasy 7 Movie !?!?!?!?!

Ok First off I will start by saying: I am making a movie for final fantasy 7. It will NOT be the entire game. it will only be the events of nibelheim. The diffrence it there is another character. My friend loves to write fanfics. so i desided I would make one into a movie.

I will be doing the graphics and animation in 3d. but the one thing i need help with is voices. I cant do all the voices, let alone one 😛

September-october
finishing up tail end of the script (novel) and writting the screen play for it.

november-febuary
constructing all the models (people, places, things, and setting up hair, cloth, and fluid simulations)

march- august
Animation and music

september- december
rendering of project

Final release date: January 2011
(if it takes longer) march 2011

There are other places available. like art. if you are good at drawing 😉 that would be great. music…. just ask me and ill see

if you would like to try out for a voice, just send me a sound clip of you saying diffrent lines from ff7 from that charcter(i would perfer 3 of them) and tell me who it is

I would like to try voice acting. So you want different lines for 3 different characters or just 3 different lines for one character?

I would perfer that you pick 3 lines from the character that your trying for. and if you want to send more than one, thats fine too.

I’ve auditioned for movies for a film club at my school and they wanted us to audition for at least 2 roles. Then they would have us read an entire scene as whichever characters while they would read back everyone else. I wasn’t sure how you were doing it.

Can you send a piece of the script to my email? I don’t really have any saves for FFVII (if I do, then it’s lost somewhere) and I’d rather read from the script that’s already been written or partially.

You should put a call for auditioners at the forums on LibriVox.org
It’s a web community dedicated to producing public domain audiobooks, but there is also a specific forum section for people to ask for help with non-LibriVox projects. It’s definitely the best way to find cost-less voice actors who will finish the job.
Plus you can go to their past recordings to see if they read well.

You do know, that SE could come down on you for this…

You’ve stated you are intending on focusing on only the events at Nibelheim (aka Last Order Final Fantasy VII, as well as portraying said events in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII), technically that could be construed as plagiarism as you are still using main characters/situation/story from the main game.

True there are a lot of fan made movies floating around on the internet, a LOT of Star Wars fan movies etc… Just remember, the FF series is one of the many intellectual properties SE has, and they do their best to keep it theirs.

If u really want to continue, u should do this in private and dont advertise too much out of it. I suggest taking off any release dates….or they shut it down before u release it.

I dont wanna sound like a goody two shoes but this year SE shut down a fan made Chrono Trigger game(started from 04) and they advertised quite a lot (it spread around the internet) and they mentioned a release date…..then before they released it by 2 weeks they got a letter from SE ordering that they delete everything. Sad? Yes.

Just make it in private…cuz this sounds like its gonna be SO COOL.

Oh yah and i might go for voice acting…but when do u want all the voice acting to be finished by….cuz i have a busy year ahead of me DX.

I agree with the last two posts. You’ll need to be careful if you’re going to attempt this. You’re going to end up dealing with a company that’s as big as Disney, and knowing what could happen if they find out, don’t advertise it so much. In fact, if you have to, make a confidentiality Agreement to keep the situation under control. Its’ cool that you’re doing a FF7 movie, but you might want to also considering trying to do your own story just in case things doesn’t work out.
