Final Fantasy

Have you defeated Chaos from the original Final Fantasy? How many turns did it take you. I am currently trying to defeat the game with out letting a character die. it’s actually quite hard. but i love challenges.

Oh the trailers for advent children are tight, sucks that it will never be in theater (I believe) but thats what home theater systems are for right.

I’m currently playing FF1 on the PSX version. i’m about halfway through the game according to the players guide. so i can’t honestly say if i have came across this "Chaos" character.

***SPOILERS.***

Chaos is the very last dude you fight. Which is why you haven’t met him yet, Locke…

I defeated him first time through. True, I was playing in the PSX easy mode so I got a lot of extra magic slots for both my Red Mage and my Black Mage, but it was still difficult getting through that dungeon with just 99 potions. ~__~

Chaos himself wasn’t *that* hard, it was getting to him that almost killed my party. A few more save points (read: Any save points) would have been nice. Still, it makes it an awesome challenge, unlike some of the newer games. 🙂

On Final Fantasy 1, I’m currently about done with the Ice Cavern at levels 21 for my warrior and 20 for my white and black mages and ninja. I still have to find out what to do with the Levistone.

I almost beat FF1 on my NES, but i got stuck and my system keeps crashing at this one part… It sucks.
It is the part where you have to beat Tiamat.

Going back and plaing game that you played when you were young is always fun to do, wheter it be the Atari your playing or your SNES its still fun. And like everyone else said Chaos is the final boss and its a real bastard trying to get to him. i disliked it alot.

I can’t seem to find a Final Fantasy rom anywhere, if someone could link me, that’d be great 🙂

Actually I do not find the difficulty in Chaos, I mean, i killed him in 3 turns;), and it didnt kill any of my characters… maybe I could give you some advices (or example, I dont know if its like this in the NES version, but in the PSX one, a Master (an upgraded monk or blackbelt), wihout any equipment on him, can make up to 10 hits… causing about 1000 damage!!!):D Anyways, being this my first post, I must say I really enjoy there is a page in which people can argument about these magnificent game saga:)

Anyway i enjoy most old game cause im more of a classic gamer.
