FFXIV Heavensward Patch 3.2 Music [MP3 V0]

Hey all,

This patch just dropped tonight and I love this music in this game so I wanted to share it. I saw darkravenx was working on it, sorry to beat you to the punch. 😛 I’ve been messing around with the dat file explorer lately and finally had the ability to rip my own music instead of relying on others, so I wanted to share.

I tagged the file names with their context in the game the best the original file names would allow me, so they’re not official track names or anything, just where they would occur in the game.

Thank you for saving my the trouble! Servers came back online early, and I logged in so my rip has taken a backseat. If others still want mine (since it will be tagged just like my others, an addition to my full Heavensward rip, Ill be uploading it later on.

Thank you! Though I just completed the Hildibrand quests, and I don’t think there was any new music there. Are you sure the track labeled as such plays there?

Checked on a Youtube video…I don’t think it did? Sounded like "Conundrum", followed by "Bliss", both from the ARR soundtrack, to me.

The track in the data files was named hildi_event, so I just assumed it was tied to the Hildibrand quests. I did them last night, but like you, I don’t remember explicitly if it played or not. Like Takfloyd said, it may have played when meeting Gigi. I’ll have to replay the cutscene to find out for sure.

Sometimes music tracks get in the data files before they’re actually used in game, so it may be for a future quest for all I know, assuming it wasn’t in the current Hildibrand quests.

Edit: Rewatched the CS and it doesn’t play during it, so it could be a currently unused track. I’ve done pretty much all the new content in the patch save Midas and Sephirot, and being they have their own songs I imagine it’s not present there.
