Ok does anyone know where the story will take place I heard it’s suppose to take place after Squall and the gang defeated Ultemcia in FFVIII. Can anyone tell if this is true or is there another story to take place.

what source did you hear this from. Square has made no release of information about teh story line of this game. At least not to my knowledge.

Furthermore, if FFXII was gonna be a sequel–it would definately not be a sequel to FF8. You should find the person responsible for that rumor, and beat the crap out of him for suggesting such tomfoolery!! :uh?:

Since this is a pretty blatent rumor. FF games have never had sequals so why should that change with FFXIII? Also.. playing in the place after Squall beat Ultimecia is just the normal FFVIII world.. so.. que? *click*
