FFXII [Demo] Espers

I’ve got some questions::

Now I know that the demo is not the final version and things change.

The summon you get in the first part of the demo… does anyone know if he is in the final version?

Do we get to choose their attacks? Cause when I summoned them all they did was walk around and use regular attacks. Belias didn’t start to use Hellfire until his time was up and I did not even get to see it.

Lastly, I pray that not all the summons will be introduced in the same manner. BOth of them in the demo, when the spell was cast, came onto the battlefield the same exact way.

They are in the final version. Both their names have changed from the demo version.

Will ifrit and Shiva be in the Game..

Ifrit and Shiva will be in the game, but NOT as summons. They will appear as the names of airships.

just like alexander, carbuncle, valefor and a bunch of other popular summons.

I haven’t played the demo version but in the final version the espers are like what you’ve said before… they walk and do some regular attacks and do their final attack when their time is up.

Example. when you summoned Mateus, s /he (I’m confused with the gender) will do some attacks. When the time is up or his /her HP is low, s /he will use his /her ‘frost-wave’.

See…. in the demo, I summoned both of them and Belias didn’t actually follow through with his big mamajamma attack. I was kinda disappointed, but then again it migh be because the enemy had died right before he went adios bye bye. IONO

Can you do that? I’ve never tried it before…

Yep… Those Espers will only unleash their Final Attack when there are enemies. If their time is up and there are no enemies… They will be dismissed.

I’ve summoned them both, yeah. Not at the same time of course. There is one in each of the chapters of the demo. Belias and .. some rock dood.

I just love the music that plays when you summon an esper. I had to download it to my cell phone.

i never paid much attention. However… having FF music as a ringtone would totally pwn.

It’s not really a ring tone, my phone is also an mp3 player. but I do have FFVII "fan fair" and FFVI "Tina" as ring tones.

Yeah. I went to ffonline.com and downloaded the midi’s to my computer then hooked my phone to it and transfered the files. Tada! free ring tones.

I’m not sure I can download crap to my phone. What kind of phone you got?

Speaking of which. I know that the strat guide has some interesting tidbits of information regarding the backgrounds of the Espers, however I really hope that they go MORE into this so called rebellion and explain the whole creation of Scions and what not in the game itself. Seriously.. that peaked my interest. Second.. Does OMEGA Mk XII look bad ass or what?

Giving the Espers a story is cool, but I havn’t taken a look at Omega yet.

it’s only a very small picture and not ingame, but still looks pretty sweet.
