Yes, the Final Fantasy X we all know and, debatably, love is an adaptation of an extremely obscure book entitled Blond Ambition: Spawn of Sin.

As queer as it may sound, it was not, in the strictest sense of the word, a publication. Rather, it was an audiobook, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas lent his voice to Tidus, the lead character.

I suspect that last tidbit of info was the reason as to why that particular audiobook didn’t see the light of day.

I wish he wasn’t, for the record. I’d love to get my hands on such an article.

Damn it, Splintered. Why must you do this to me?

@ OP, going through all the games just to write the story down would be ridiculous. You can find the scripts for every FF game on the internets.

Wow um I might understand if they said manga but I mean really. Ok to save you from asking a question about ff that will generate responses like this again. If they didn’t do it for final fantasy 7 they didn’t do it for another final fantasy game.
