We all know that FFVII is based a lot of Norse religions and gods but did anybody know about X and Islamic relations? The islamic religion requires for you to do 3 tasks in order to achieve spiritual perfection so you may be reincarnated as a higher being than your previous form. This is called the caste system. Now, the three things are……actually I only remember that they must go on a pilgrimage. There is one place that they ABSOLUTELY NO MATTER WHAT go to in order to achieve perfection and it is called Mecca. That is where the fayth bless them. Does that sound a bit like FFX to you????

Yeah…. and they seem to pray where ever they go (compared to Islamic Religion praying 5 times a day).

So was MogKnight – don’t get defensive.

There were a lot of alludes to organised religion of all kinds in FF10… Yevon to me seemed like a thinly-veiled parody of the Catholic Church.

Lucky the Pope doesn’t play computer games, eh?

Oh deary me, where’d you get that idea?

I am most offended.

We pray to God not to Fayths that grant us Aeons. Who told you about the caste system? We have the 5 pillars of Islam to abide by.

BTW we don’t go on pilgramage "NO MATTER WHAT" the only thing that can prevent you from going is ill-health and financial problems.

Well I suppose we have our Black mages and White mages but that’s it.

Please don’t compare religion to a computer game. It’s not right.

Riana I am really sorry for there were some errors in my first post. The part about the caste system is incorrect. I was thinking Hindus that believed in the caste system when in fact the Islamic religion (In India) is against it. And about the pilgrimage, what I should have said was they are expected to instead of they have to. And I believed that you did pray to fayth just not the same type of fayth in FFX I was just saying it because the names are the same. My apologies Riana I am sorry:(
