The reason I ask this is that alot of people on other forums I visit have said they dislike FFVII for the following reasons:
– It focused too much on cinematics
– The story was rubbish (omfg)
– The characters were too linear (again, omfg)
– It brought RPGs to a mainstream audience
What are your thoughts?
But the characters were quite linear. They had a story behind them but they were all set in there ways and only made slight changes through out the game.

My thoughts are that we already have two threads on the subject in the FFVII forum. 🙁 Read them and post there if you feel that you have a chance in the debate.
