FFIX love or hate

We all have our opinions on FFIX, my opinoin is that it is one of the greatest FF’s ever! the story was cool, kuja may not have been the best of enemies but all of the characters were done in great detail.

it definetly comes in my top 3 with a fight for 2nd place with FFV and FFVI. FFVII on top of them all(mainly cause of sephiroth and Cloud, those to took my world by storm).

but thats my opinion, whats yours?

It is freaking awesome.

Went from a thief…to something so much bigger in like 20 hrs (going slowly). It was amazing.

it comes in 3rd to 4th on my list of ps1 games. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great way to end the ff series on the ps1.

God I hated this game with a passion! It ranks in with Crystal Chronicles for me. I didnt feel for any of the characters, they just annoyed me and the musical score wasnt the best either!

FF9 isn’t just my favorite Final Fantasy, it’s my favorite game, period. ^_^ When I moved to Japan, I had to go without my American PS2 for a while and the only two games I had in Japanese were Inuyasha and FF9. FF9 kept me company for a while, as we were waiting for our things to come in… XD

So, anyway… yeah. FF9 is awesome. It’s the one game the really got me into the whoel Final Fantasy series, and after all this time remains my favorite. I just love the characters, the story, the world, everything. ^_^

well its not my fav ff but its definitly up there

FFIX is my number 2 FF game. Everything about it was interesting, from the character design, to the plot, and even the subgames were well thought out

It is not my favorie but definatly worth a play and a good story line.

The animation was very good but the trance system ws a big let down in my opinion

Final Fantasy IX is an awesome game. I liked alot of the characters, the storyline, the battle system and pretty much everything about it.

i wouldn’t say it was my fav but i really enjoyed playin it!

Garnet + Zidane + Vivi + Steiner > Every other cast

In terms of personality, humor, and character depth.

I have different opnions on the game. I have to say it is ok but I dont see what so great about it.

It has my favourite character (Vivi) and is one of my top three final fantasy games!

it is a OKAY game they couldve fixed it up a bit in the battle system and some other little things.the characters looked good too.it had kuja my favorite villian in the ff series

I think if they had waited till PS2, it would have gotten a much nicer response. The graphics could have been a lot more amped on the ps2 and it would have done more to enhance the visual quiality of the game.

it did have a few faults that the others didn’t have yet it is still my all time favourite final fantasy i don’t know why but it had differences that made it special.

It is sooo the best. The music was kool. The storyline awsome. The characters superb. It was…words can’t describe. Awsomely the koolest final fantasy EVER. (with 7 right behind. ^.^)

This is one of my favorite final fantasies. It was nice to get back to the traditional armor system the earlier games. Also, this game had Vivi, the unquestioned master of the universe.

its probably my favourite final fantasy game, and definately in my top 3 ps1 titles.
it feels so different to most rpgs and all the systems are simple enough to not bog you down but still leave plenty of room for customisation.
my only criticisms would be that the music is not as good as other ps1 ff games and that the villains are a little undeveloped.

I disliked that ability learning system. I never ran into problems with it but…gah I wanted to learn Bahumut but then again, I wanted Garnets defense higher for the next fight and the conflict there stumped me.

I love it, this is a awesome game. Final Fantasy IX puts other games to shame.

It was my least favorite out of the FF games I’ve played(FF7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2). I enjoyed FF9 and its story. I just didn’t like the characters. They were shaped weird and weren’t as memorable as the characters in the other games. Also, Kuja was very feminine, which made me and kitty scared…

So, for me, FF9 was great fun to play, but it just doesn’t hold a candle to the others in my eyes.

FFIX is my favorite game!!

I think it’s great because of the plot, and character depth.

It is probably my second favourite FF after VII and certainly one of my favourite games of all time.
The characters are great and for the most part, the plot top notch (loses its way at the end).
The most overwhelmingly great thing about the game was the towns and the incredible pre-rendered backgrounds and animations. Even now (I am replaying it), I go "wow" at every background.

Count me in to the league of FFIX-lovers.

I love FF IX. It’s my favourite FF game followed by FF VII and FF X =)

Ummm I’m undecided. I can’t decide between VIII and IX.

FF9 wasnt my fav, i didnt like medievil feel that it had… after FF8 it somehow seemed kinda behide the times.. i personally thing that the Highwind (FF7) woz a better ship than the Invinclble.. on the + side it was funny, Kuja to me was Pretty decent, since he was ment 2 be a girl.. beatrix was awsome, and the Card game was Grim.. my list goes
