Okay, this one I really enjoyed.
The music is great in this. Really love the 17th century vibe to it. The chocobo music was a riot.
The FMV’s are upped quite a bit over the previous 2.
It has a different card game system (one that’s actually cheap enough to buy 2 sets off eBay for replicas from a German company).
Neat story, love the mixture of the time period of knights and stuff and things.
I would say I really enjoy this one over the other 2. More than I thought I would the first time.
Maybe it was the first one I actually bought for myself rather than renting all the time. It was cute.

Some things:

Additional Features
・Achievements
・Seven game boosters including high speed and no encounter modes.
・Autosave
・High-definition movies and character models.

HD movies, nice.
"no encounter mode" sounds boring.

I’ve the requirements for the Recommended settings.
I hope this looks very pretty. I’m way too excited over this.

I’ll be buying this and 6 during the Summer sales.
This is giong to be fun.

It probably requires so much storage because of the HD movies, if I recall correctly, Ⅸ had a lot of FMVs. At any rate, I’ll wait for the likely PS4 ports of this and Ⅷ. Same old crap, though: in-game models look nice upscaled/touched-up, backgrounds look shittier than ever.

The most important thing about this re-release to Steam, I’d say, is the HD FMVs and gameplay.

I played the start of this game with ePSX, felt really nice with my PS4 controller, I enjoyed it.

Yeah, that one with Vivi going through the market…

I don’t know if that’s just jpeg artefacts or what. But it looks so horrible. It’s like they just cranked the AA on it.

It’ll be fun to watch all the videos in it.

Man technology sure has changed over the years. On a small SD TV with PS1 (slim) was really the only time I played.
Haven’t really emulated it since then.

Fucking finally. Let’s hope they don’t fuck with the aesthetic the same way they’ve been doing with FFIV-VI.

It was just released a few minutes ago. I was following this like a hawk. You guys should’ve seen the Steam boards, it was busier than CS:GO’s boards for a while with all the speculation over when it was going to be released. Very glad it’s available for PC now, will let you guys know what I think of it when I get a chance to play.
