I’m getting ever closer to completely the original final fantasy (which is awesome btw) and just want to know if II is worth me playing instead of replaying X (I’ve heard it’s not that good), what do you think?

My least favorite FF, tbqh.

Read up on the battle system before trying it, as it is completely different than any other game in the series. Watch a youtube video or two as well.

I am not kidding in that you can get your stats up to max before leaving the first town, if you want to sink the time into it. I just did my HP. I had 9999 before strolling out (I played the Dawn of Souls port, btw) and that was ludicrous.

Just do some research is my suggestion.

Final Fantasy II was actually one of my favorite classics. The battle system is different, but it’s not too hard. Just like how FFVIII was pretty different, but the junction system was a lot harder because there’s tons of detail involved and you have more you gotta remember.

I rather enjoyed junctioning.

Granted II wasn’t the best FF, but I don’t think it’s the worst either.

II is at least funner than V imo because the plotline is more intense which makes it better. I like FFII better than V at least.

Harkus- I recently replayed X. And i realy enjoyed it. I also have FFI on psp. Which seems good. But im not playing it at the moment ‘coz RE4’ . But I was told that two is a little suprising. And i would take Kneg’s advise and read up.

But if you are guna do X again then good luck and i hope you enjoy it 😉

I rather enjoyed junctioning.

Junctioning was more flawed than II’s system.

I said enjoyed. I made no mention of success on an objective level :smrt:

i picked up the II version for the psp when i pre-ordered crisis core and made it about halfway through. the used based system for leveling is kinda annoying at times but it’s still one of my top picks in the series.

the classics are always worth a go IMO.
