FF7-Ancient Cave..

I had this site in my favorites for a long time but Nanaki Wolf writed the site on a thread so I remembered….thanks Nanaki Wolf!

Now lets discuss…but before that you have to check the site lol and look at the images…

I saw that cave in my last playthrough…but I found no way to enter it..and there is no way…it must have been a place that was deleted because square didn’t had time to finish the game…but what does that cave would have been?

Its possible its a cave where Sephiroth had his wicked way with Aeris before he finished her off. Or a weapon cave that was later disabled. I dunno, either are good.
It is pretty weird they left the vine there though…

I looked up something else. It was actually a side/mini-quest in the Japanese version that the director believed was unimportant in the making of the US version. I’m curious to know what was in there. Maybe a revival thingy for Aeris…

I seem to remember something about this a while back. I think it was the Aeris revival area. Bughanhagan had to do something in there. I might have my info messed up though, that was a long way back when I read about it.

No, I don’t remember anything about this cave, even though I did play the Japanese version of Final Fantasy7.
Maybe I missed something? I don’t think so.

umm in the jap version of FF you could go to aerises garve with a pheniox down and the ending would change

with that being said, this is my 100th post. hooray!!

I never noticed this cave before, or maybe I did. Don’t know, can’t remember. But I remember the small path, and I always try to go down there. 😉

But aren’t there any more caves at the cliffs in the ice area? I am talking about the mountain you have to climb up, and control your body temperature. I think, there are also a few caves (or a few ways to go) you can’t enter. I always try to go in there, when I play. :rolleyes:

But I never really thought about these extra places. I just thought they are there for making the area look good, but you can’t enter, because there is nothing. 🙂

It is still interesting, and there are a lot of rumours going around the web.

The thing that irritate me is that why do they keeped the damn vine!!

And I didn’t noticiced it myself at first, but when I readed that on the site, I looked myself and there is absolutely nothing you can do there.

As I said in many other posts. I think this holds something like a extra boss or some secret way to revive aeris. But who knows. Oh yeah did you guys try climbing it?

P.s: This is what I said. I thought i was climbing it on my pc version and glitch or not I got a bashed up Ultimate WEAPON here to fight. It only happened once though I took the cd to some electronic place and told him what happened and he said

"Have you ever thought SQUARESOFT added something new to the pc version?"

ya on my first time through i saw that and thought wtf?, and i tried to climb it(with no luck) and it kinda pissed me off.
