Which FF had the best music? Just want to know.

FF X definately, i mean i remembered the music for the other games but i hummed the music to this! I mean OMG!!

i totally agree! ff10 so rocks!!! and rikku_rocks theres nothing wrong with humming the music.

i like 7’s music. especially the turks theme. and the safer sephiroth theme.

I listen to VII more then anything else, the Main Theme is one of the greatest pieces of music in the whole FF series. VIII is a close second, it’s actully the only FF soundtrack I’ve ever bought, not counting the Spirits Within.

FFVII has the most tunes that I like, however all the games have a great score behind them, VII’s just sticks in my mind the most

FF7 has one of the best soundtrack music that a game culd ever have it can even make someone cry like the aeris theme for example.Anytime im bored i hum ff tunes.
FF10 and FFX-2 also hav sum really gud and awesome tunes and soundtrack music

i agree with dotman12,i wouldn’t say it was the best though but it is really good! =)

Frogger had a really great soundtrack.

All the ff soundtracks are great (don’t know about the first four, ain’t played em’) but i still voted for ffx.
Bought the four cd boxset from Japan about a month ago and i have wore the discs out already!

i like 7’s music. especially the turks theme. Good to see I’m not the only one who was clicking along to it. I just find 7’s tunes to be more memorable, and X-2 is just way too J-Pop to be considered.

Koji Kondo (guy who does the Zelda soundtracks) should collaborate with the ff musicians!
It would be an awesome soundtrack me thinks!

I adore the Final Fantasy 8 OST, but 7s is great also.
I dont think the others live up to them!

Although ff7 is by far the best game, i have come to think that ff8 has the best soundtrack.hands down.

FF IX has the best music, escpecially the opening music on the main menu, how pretty!

FF VII was a great game, but didn’t have great music.

Although I voted for FFVI, Uematsu’s own favourite OST is FFIX, so that also is worth mentioning (as it was my second favourite).

Voted for VII…Cosmo Canyon and Boss music were awesome

I have always prefered the music of Final Fantasy X-2, particularly the song ‘Morning Glow’ or the instramental ‘Eternity’s Memory of Lightwaves’

FF8 had the best soundtrack imho

The music just seemed to stick in my head.

Especially waltz for the moon I loved that song
