Fave Music

Been done before i know, but not for a while. What do you reckon is the best music on the game? I’d definately say the music when Zidane is pissed off at everyone (Dissapating Sorrow), where you fight the Silver dragons (Skirmish with the Silver Dragons), the part where Steiner and Beatrix are fighting together (Loss of Me remix), The music is Gulug Volcano (Gulgur Volcano) and the fight against Hades (Hunter’s Chance) are the coolest sounding ones. The game has some good music.

My favorite tunes are kuja’s theme (Dark Messenger) and Hunter’s chance. FFIX’s music is very awsome! I listen to the Dark Messenger alot on my comp(infact, i’m jamming out as we speak =D)

Ah, the "Favorite Song" topic. 🙂 Heh-heh-heh….let’s see now.

1. Melodies of Life/Dagger’s Theme/Song of Memory – This song has always been my favorite one. And it will be for a loooong time to come, I think.

2. You’re Not Alone! – Such wonderfully emotionally-charged music to go along with Zid’s big attitude problem in Pandemonium. This was also my favorite part of the game, too.

3. Rose of May (Beatrix’s Theme) – This. Song. Is. Gorgeous.

4. Zidane’s Theme (Where Love Doesn’t Reach/Unfathomed Reminiscense) – The slow part of Zidane’s theme. When Zid tells Dag his story in BMV, and as he laments her coronation back in Alexandria. The piano version is absolutely beautiful, too.

5. The FU-RU-SA-TO Songs
These include "The Place I’ll Return to Someday," "Ipsen’s Castle," "Four Mirrors," "Terra," and "Transient Past."

6. Hilde Guarde 3 theme – Eh, well, this changes depending on my mood. Usually it’s either this, Assault of the Silver Dragons, Beyond Those Doors, or something like that. Pretty much anything on the fourth disc of the soundtrack… *L*

I’d have to list the entire FF9 soundtrack to do justice to how much I love the music for this game, too. But I think those are my favorites. 🙂

Heh, this thread is kind of appropriate, as I’m actually listening to the FFIX OST right now! The current track playing is ‘A Transient Past’ – the haunting chant that plays in Oelivert in that room with the spooky heads that talk about Terra’s decay. A brilliant theme.

But like Kurohime, I like so many of FFIX’s tracks, I’d have to post the entire OST here to do it justice! Although I suppose Melodies of Life and Final Fantasy is my favourite of the lot.

"The Dark Messenger" fits Kuja’s personality perfectly, and ideal for the situation it’s used in, "Skirmish of the Silver Dragons" fills that particular FMV with the right atmosphere for the moment, and "Feel My Blade" just rocks.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">My favourite would have to be You’re Not Alone, the one that plays in Pandemonium when Zidane goes mad and seems like he wants to leave the party. This fit in well with the scene, and I really liked it as music anyway. Other notable favourites are Melodies Of Life and The Dark Messenger.

Now here’s my ‘I need help’ part… After listening to the Iifa Tree music on mp3 quite a few times, I’m actually starting to like it. Help me… ;_;

I really like the song Dagger sings and the music that is played when you first start the game. I don’t know the names of them but i really like those songs cos they are extremely ruley ^_^

Oh yeah, i forgot about You’re not Alone! It’s kewl man. Yeah, and the Iifa tree does grow on ya. If you’re really bored, try listening to it 10 times lol.

I think I like ALL the Songs.

I think the song at the beginning load and new game screen is the best.

1.) Please don’t resurrect long dead topics.
