Simple problem, with perhaps a simple solution.

Take on Xbox360 headset, and make it work on a PC?

I have one headset, one Nokia N-Gage .amr recording wires (one end small one end large audio jack), one PC and one set of delightfully small screwdrivers.

So far I’ve only managed to get audio through the headsets mono speaker, with the small pin touching the small pin on the end of the N-Gage wire, the other end is of course inside the headphones socket on the PC speakers.

Those speakers are plugged into the green slot at the back of the PC, figuring that this headset should actually be plugged into the pink microphone slot, and trying that, I’ve had nothing but a few crackles of audio and nothing can be heard from me in an MSN audio convo.

How does one perfectly wire a small audio jack onto another small audio jack?
