as much as i liked this game i agree plus the story all together sucked ass..

dont give a shit about story line but its just an overall awesome game…its everything u could ask 4…fighting with melee range and magic and then on the side killing people in town kicking peoples heads off buys houses getting married and u can even be a homosexual…dont worry im not…thats what i call a fun game

It’s pretty mediocre. The role-playing elements are far too minimalist, for one. Also, it’s more or less impossible to specialize in any skill effectively. You have to play a cookie cutter balance in order to be successful. The controls feel way too much like an Xbox port to be acceptable in a PC game. Menu navigation is painful. On top of that, the gameplay just gets absurdly stale after a few hours.

In general, it was a promising concept and certain elements of it should definitely be juxtaposed into other games, but Fable failed to live up to the promises it made.

And still almost half a year from now..

Shitty controls for the PC and designed by someone who’ve made a great girlfriend for John Romero back in the nineties.

i thought it was fun to play but really short. also the last boss was amazingly easy. the game overall was easy. also not many other things to do in the game except follow the story, which in itself was pretty much nothing interesting.

I bought fable a few months ago and i think its an awesome game. Although the storyline is short and its hard to specialise in skills, the gameplay is still good, with little features such as decapitating headfs and some side quests. I love to play it and although it might be easy its really fun to play. What i suggest is that they put in optional storylines and not have to follow one main story (so ithe story depends on you being good or evil). Ive played it for hours and i still love it and compared to other games its still really impressive. IM going to buy the 2nd one when it comes out too.

The 2nd fable should be coming out sometime this year, but much later on (october, november). You can watch the trailer for it on youtube and because im nice i’ll give you the link:

My friend also did work experiance and was one the game testers/helpers and hopefully it should be a really good game. As i said, the first one is also very good. I bought rome: total war and it was ok then i bought fable and it rocked. However, i do not own that many RPG games and compared to some other games i play on the net its really good.

I really liked the amount of freedom given in this game, being able to do whatever you want pretty much.

That’s about all i liked though.
