Any1 have any tips for beatin Evrae?

You will need to use a party of Rikku, Wakka, and Auron/Lulu. Rikku is a must cause she’ll be able to tell Cid to control the Airship, plus she’ll be your healer w/a large stock of Al Bhed Potions you should have aquired. Wakka is long range, so keep him there. And you’ll have to swap between Auron and Lulu depending on what range you’re on.

Right from the bat, you want a party of Wakka, Rikku, and Auron. Have Wakka and Auron attack while Rikku should tell Cid to move back. When the ship moves back, you’ll be out of Evrae’s range, but Wakka should still have him in his range, and Lulu as well with her magic so bring her in instead of Auron. Wakka should attack while Lulu casts her strongest level spell. Every turn of Cid’s, he’ll launch a wave of missiles at Evrae whic will help you out alot. Now, you’ll have to use Rikku to supply a good defense on your team. Use a Chocobo Wing to caste Hastega, or use Chocobo Feathers on each individual person (starting with Rikku). Use Light and Lunar Curtains on each person as well. If you get Rikku’s OD before the fight, have her mix a Super Mighty G which speeds up the defensive process. You could consider using Stamina Tonics on everyone, espeically those with low HP (*cough*Lulu*cough*) to double their max HP.

So keep attacking with Wakka, and magicing (?) with Lulu and have Rikku on stanby to give Al Bhed Potions whenever needed. When Evrae loses most of his HP, he’ll come flying over to you to initiate close range fighting. You shouldn’t pull back cause he’ll just fly back. Swap Lulu with Auron and have Rikku Haste him. Then just keep attackign with everyone and use Rikku to use Al Bhed Potions whenever needed.

When Evrae closes in on you, he likes to use status ailment attacks, so guard against that if you can. Have everyone on overdrive before the battle to make them even more useful. Fight some of the enemies hanging around the airship. You might want to spend, oh, I don’t know, 15-30 minutes fighting those enemies on the airship just to get some spheres and spere levels and stuff and beef up your party a bit.

Just for later on you’ll have to fight Evrae again, but this time the fight should take like 1 turn. Evrae is zombified during this, so just cast life on it. Thar you go dead…..that’ll be the last time you have to fight Evrae.

I Had So Much Trouble With This Guy That I Built up For a Few Hours Inside The Airship and i hate to Brag But i Killed Him In an Overdrive With Wakka… Did A good 40000 Damage…

had no problem with Evrae, but never got around to getting any characters to break damage limit…what’s the easiest way to do that? or easiest way to get dark matter that is?

The easiest way to beat evrae is to have a full overdrive for Rikku, when her turn comes use mix and mix a Lv.3 or Lv.4 key sphere with a pendulum, door to tomorrow, wings to discovery or a underdog`s secret, all your characters attacks will do 9999 damage all the time so you should have no trouble beating evrae

you just use magic while letting yuna on the party, keep healing and wakka using his blitzball on it.

Wow… that’s an awesome strategy… that totally doesn’t work because Yuna is in Bevelle at the time!

Yeah Yuna was kidnapped by Seymour and anyways, i’ll say my strategy. first, use the al bhed potions you got from the sanubia desert during the battle. for example, evrae uses his/her poison or stone skill just switch any of ur char. to rikku and use her ability "use" and i suggest u to have rikku’s weapon with the ability alchemy because it can double the effect of the potion. :angel:
