Gates of Tomorrow always gives me a John Barry kindish feeling. Mr. Korzeniowski made some beautiful scores. My fav is A Single Man, two great composers together Abel and Shigeru……

Abel Korzeniowski agreeing to do this film score for free because he liked the concept so much should tell you quite a bit about the type of composer he is. Much like the film, Korzeniowski provides a pastiche backdrop that hides darker, more ominous elements in the scores middle sections, which extends to the so-sweet-it’s-sickening "Imaginate!" song at the album’s end. This is a unique score for a unique film from a unique composer, and for that it’s definitely worth a listen.
