I know this is probably a long shot, and I know the John Carpenter And Kurt Russell Commentary Had been posted before To Both Escape From New York And The Thing. I know one Exists For Escape From LA, but from what i gather its only on the Laser Disc, And was never put on Any Dvd Or Blu Ray. If anyone has Access To It, that would be amazing. Thanks.

A shame none of that was ever put on Dvd Or Blu ray, at least not any US release.

Are you sure this isn�t New York as I haven�t heard of any special edition of Los Angeles with deleted opening and commentary etc

Yeah i am sure, those features listed there are on the Laserdisc Copy of Escape From LA. I Own both special Editions Of Escape From NY and they have tons more then that.

Show me proof as I cant find anything about a EfLA special edition having commentary (if so I would have bought it at any cost as I am a major Carpenter fan

Its not a special edition really, its just features that came on the "laserdisc" http://www.amazon.com/ESCAPE-FROM-L-A-LASERDISC/dp/B000YO8OAU
And yes i am a huge Carpenter fan also 🙂

Sorry , but that Amazon page has it all wrong. I have that laserdisc and it does NOT feature a commentary at all.
