True, I havent played that long and gotten that far, but…
Concerning equipment; In the older FFs, you could see the advantages and disadvantages of arming a new weapon, but in FFX, all I see is bonuses like 5% Strength.

Doesnt it matter what weapon you carry, as damage is calculated by character /enemy and thus the different weapons’ only difference, is their bonuses?
-Or do they do different damage and I have just overlooked something?

Thanks! 🙂

Furthermore; In the Sphere Grid, some nodes are labelled as "Lv. 2 Lock is blocking the way".

Now what does that mean? It cant mean I need more than sphere level 2 to pass, as I have that, so Im kinda puzzled regarding that 🙂

First off… don’t double-post 🙂 You can always use the Edit button to add to your post and such…

The abilities on a weapon do what they say "Strength +10%" raises your strength 10%, therefore increasing your power. Your strength level also matters, as well as the enemy’s defense and weaknesses and stuff..

Lv. 2 Lock means you need a Level 2 Key Sphere to unlock it.

So the different weapons have nothing to do with different dmg(unless it gives strength bonus)?

How do I get Level x Key Spheres then? 🙂

-Thanks for the answers!

You get them by beating various monsters, bribing and such…

Look at www.gamefaqs.com to find an exact location x_X
