Was there ever a complete version of this without SFX released?

Not that I’m aware of. That complete shown here was made by me few years ago. A better rip could surely be done today with the tools available these days. This one was made from both the DVD rip and the official soundtrack. Would be nice to have a clean release though.

Why don’t you like the original soundtrack? In my opinion, it sounds really good.

The original is good indeed, but missing 2-3 excellent cues if I remember correctly. Anyhow, great score notheless.

the score was originally uploaded (not by me) in mp3, and the soundtrack was re-uploaded by me in FLAC only, because anybody can make a lossy conversion from FLAC.
