Dragon Tiger Gate Original Soundtrack by Kenji Kawai (2006)

A magnificent soundtrack for a great martial arts film, Dragon Tiger Gate’s score was composed by Kenji Kawai. I definitely love the musical style of Mr. Kawai, because he knows how to impregnate the music with the spirit of warrior, with themes filled with the power of the chinese martial arts. At least this is the sensation that I have when I listen to the soundtracks of Ip Man and Dragon Tiger Gate.

Talking about this movie, in my opinion it is not a masterpiece in relation to the performance, however, the battles are amazing. Powerful techniques, with some special powers and fulminant movements that demolished several opponents or defeating a big boss. The best duel for me was against Shibumi, the powerful leader of the mafia, which force seems to come from a dark side of the Kung Fu training.
