download sites wtf?

ok i know this is probally in the wrong section but i dont know where it should go.

I am trying to download two seperate files, one on mega upload and rapidshare, seriously this is soooo annoying, on mega upload i have to wait like 160 minutes after i download one 70mb album wth?
And on rapidshare it says im already downloading a file, which im not so i tried it on I.E instead and i get the same error with both, i have closed and re opened the browsers but i still get this error, why would they make such a stupid service, any help??

You’re downloading something FOR FREE, just be happy about it. What’s a little waiting time, like 5 hours or so?

You don’t like it? Go buy the actual cd, or pay MU or RS for a Premium Membership so you can download more stuff without having to wait long.

Besides, I think it has something to do with your IP address.

im not downloading something for free, its not letting me download it lol

Thats not my point tho, it offers a service but it nots giving me that service, i havnt used rapidshare in weeks and when i go on it asks me to wait something like 120 mins so i DID wait annd when it got to 0 i refreshed the download and it told me i was already downloading something so i couldnt, so i waited about 20 mins and re started the download now ive got to wait 180 mins. Not so much the same with mega upload, i DID download something but it was only a 70mb file.
I know it would make more sense to buy the cd but just because theyre not providing me the service that they state i shouldnt go around it.

Are you sure both files aren’t from the same service? I know, that was probably a stupid question. Yeah, the waits for these services can be a hassle, but you learn to deal with it.

Today my IE crashed while I was trying to download from Rapidshare. I lost my download, and RS told me I had to wait an hour since I had already downloaded something, which was complete BS.

But you didn’t hear this from me, but if you Google "Megaupload" or "Rapidshare" and browse down the links, you may get some helpful "advice" on working around it.

Does it work? I don’t know. Never tried, since I’m on a router and I’m not the administrator.

Ive tried looking for away to get premium account access (i know i shouldnt but i cant afford to pay) but i couldnt fine anything, most links are dead and theres alotttt of people saying they have lists of premium accounts for download of rapidshare which are fakes.

i also tried using a proxy anonymiser so it forgets my ip but it didnt work, im not too smart when it comes to that.

If anyone knows any working ways to get around the waiting times etc. could u post them please =]

o yeh, sorry for the double post but the file i downloaded earlier was the 300 ost, i cant remember the original file name coz i renamed it but its passworded =/ so thats was bs, if anyone downloaded a 300 soundtrack that was passworded can you tell me what it was pleasee =]

ok this is really pissing me of now, at about 12am last nite i went back on rapidshare and it said i have 50 mins left but i couldnt be bothered to wait so i went to bed, now i came back on at 11am and it now says ive got to wait 70mins, wtf??? no ones has downloaded on my comp unless someone has like hacked into my router, anyone help i just want to download ONE album omggg =[

it sounds like someone else has your ip. are you on some sort of network
