Yea, I watched it a few *cough*dozen*cough* times and I nearly wet myself each time. I know they said they have no plans to do a remake at the Sony E3 press conference, but damn it still gets my hopes up.

Oh lord, the PS3 looks like a fax machine…wow if I get one, I’ll have to rearrange everyhting in teh TV room so fit tis thing.

It would be like playing an FMV. That video was actually increadible.

Well that’s the idea really. The PS3 won’t use ‘FMV’. The machine is so powerful that it can render in real-time which means that you will, like you say, effectivly be playing an FMV.

Man I hope Sony delivers.

The problem is, we’ve seen super good graphics to demo a platform before, only to find out those graphics are only possible when it’s ONLY those graphics – no AI routines running in the background.

A lot of places have said that Killzone 2 looks to be prerendered, and this FF7 demo is definately so – however, i’m more likely to believe Square Enix’s demo. Their FF6 tech demo for the Nintendo 64 was accurate of the abilities of the system.

I want to play final fantasy VII in it’s new version, I am sure SE is preparing us a big surprise and reveal that as everyone loves FFVII they will remake it… or maybe that desicion will depend on the sales of AC
