Does anybody know if, when fighting all the tonberries in the centra ruins so you can get tonberry king as a gf, is it possible to go outside and save your game between the 20 or so battles with the tonberries? or will this cause you to have to start again from the beginning?

20 Tonberries in a row, so you can’t leave the area, save and go back. This is to make it challenging and stuff.

Yes you can do that. You dont have to kill them in the row. You can go outside, safe your game and go back in. It wont start from the beginning. 🙂

I know for sure, because thats what Im doing all the time. 😉

I does? I dont know, because I dont have this walkthrough.

But isnt he talking about the place where you can get Odin and your Tonberry summon?

Well, when I go in there, I pick up Odin at first, to get rid of the time….go outside and save.

Then I go back in there, have a few fights, go back outside, save, go back inside, have a few more fights……..I keep doing that this way.

It always works. I never asked myself, if you can do it or not. I just did it this way first time I played it. And I do it, when I play this game now….and its always working. 🙂

If it doesnt work, then because of the different version (NTSC/PAL). Im playing the Pal-version and you can do that. 😉

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, too. The whole thing is just too long. Thats why I wanted to safe after a few fights……and right before Tonberry-king shows up, of course. Just in case, I mess it up. 😉

Good, I didnt look at a walktrouhg for that….

But, like I said, if it doesnt work, then because of the different version. 🙁

Of course, if you want the challange, fight them in the row. 🙂

If you want to be safe, go outside and save….. 😉
