Just for information.

I have compared the flac versus m4a @ 320 , I hear with an sennheiser hd650 (very good headphone) and the audio card from my ASUS ROG G751JY (one of the best gaming laptop).

I have synchronized the same song by using vlc and audacity, with my ears I can’t hear a difference, it’s exactly the same quality even the flac bitrate is around 1400 kbbs against 320 kbbs, also why loose space data in this case.

I have an high end system audio with B&W 800 serie Diamond 2 + Rotel flags ship processor and amplifier , I should compare with this system maybe…
