Did Final Fantasy 7 8 and 9 have legondary weapons also?

I have played 7 8 9 and 10 through and I was wondering did 7, 8 and 9 have weapons similar to the legondary weapons from ff10??

Surely somebody must know???

I haven’t played FFX yet. Is it possible to tell me what a legendary weapon is without spoiling anything?

7-9 dont have "legendary weapons" but they do have ultimate weapons. thats about it. legendary weapons are not too good when first gotten but fully upgraded they are the best in the game.

In 10 the legendary weapons are basically their ultimate weapons and yes 7,8,9 have ultimate weapons for every character just like 10. Only they actually make you stronger, unlike 10.

I don’t remember finding any super wonderful weapons on 7 8 or 9. IF it wasn’t bought or found in a obvious place I didn’t get it.

:confused: um, what sort of weapon do you mean?, i didnt even know ff10 was out anywhere yet cause i aint seen any reviews on it?! 2 weps i know in 7 are ultimate weps and best wep 4 chars, but 8 +9 i dont know, 8 +9 i aint completed yet :p dont have the time no more 🙁
