That’s ridiculous. If Shaw does that, Rogers and Bell probably won’t be far behind which means the smaller ISPs that use them (TekSavvy, Distributel, Acanac, etc) will also be blocked. I’m in Toronto but I’m from BC originally.

for people having blocking issues with Mega, you can use MegaDownloader and setup a free proxy in it to get around that. (you could also set that proxy up in your browser)

there are plenty of free proxies here :
Free Proxy Lists (http://www.freeproxylists.net)

for those using google chrome there is also a nice app that will let you download through a secure encrypted cloud (Zenmate)

i will develop any of those ways if necessary and requested.
