I believe that a repetitiveness is very hard to avoid especially in an open world lengthy games which is caused by experiences from playing other games as well. Someone on reddit left a comment that it took them about 30 hrs to finish a mainline story with approximately 20 hrs of side quests left. So how much more developers can surprise players with novelty in this case.

I myself pre-ordered the game for its uniqueness if you look at all its elements combined.

On the other hand Rage 2 is going to be released next month and I already feel like I have seen everything in it from PR showcases. The sandbox, enemies, weapons, vehicles, ark upgrades, the last boss. It seems to be cool but I am afraid it is going to get old quickly.

I think I’ll wait few months before buying this one !
Rage 2… well, as we say " We take the same and we begin again… "

I’m really waiting – anxiously – for the Last of US 2 ! 🙂
