Darn Spikes!

Im sry to post twice..but this is the only option I have left….Im trying to get "Sharp Spikes" to lv up Selphies weapon into the "Morning Star". Ive look at guides and say that I can get them by beating Grand Mantis’ at the Centra Ruins. BUT I havent fought one yet!! Can anyone help me?? Ive looked everywhere!

There is no grand mantis in cenra ruins. Just tonberrys and forbiddens. Mug them from grand mantintises if you have the ragnarok as you can find them on the nortern continent in the forest area. Otherwise i aint sure…

The stupid guide said the ruins..dang liars! Actually I found them. They’re on the Centra Continent but they’re in the forests!lol Not once did I think to look in the forest!

I have another question! Whoo Hoo! Umm Im looking for grendels any ideas to where to find them. Ive heard there around timber or something. Note that im on disk two and only have the flying garden!

Grendels are found on the Island closest to Hell. However as you do not have the ragnarok i am unsure whether you can access it.

I’m not sure I have the strategy guide too, but I don’t use Selphie much. Why don’t you try www.gamefaqs.com? See if that works. Whenever a strategy guide is no help to me, I go there.
