Dance minigame

You know the one before the thunder plains concert thing? Well i dont get when you should do x instead of triangle or square instead of circle. and do you have to press one at the same time the note lights up? I assume so, the big question i have is with my first question.

Last question can be ignored, i just noticed the button symbols that show up under Rikku’s screne, lol. But i’ve got a question of curiousity now, just wondering what is a good score to get on the mini game, like i always got 45 or 35 or some thing, before i noticed the symbols appearing under Rikku’s screne.

Second: A "good" score, if my instant memory recall is right is 150 or more. This gets you the unique accessory Shmooth Shailing. All right: now here’s your strategy. You see the symbols appearing, just mash away at those. The thing is: don’t worry about accuracy! When you see a symbol appear, mash away at it as fast as possible and then when you see another one, just switch as soon as you get the chance. Even if you’re not accurate right away, you still get points even for hitting a wrong symbol. So mash, mash, mash and switch when you can. This’ll get you Shmooth Shailing easy.

2) is there a better item then the smooth shailing that you get at 200? causei got the shailing but i saved a second file incase i wanted to go back to the minigame some time, plus that item makes you have auto slow i think.

Not that I know of. You should get Shmooth Shailing anyway, it’s a unique accessory. Anything else from the dancing game you can get from someplace else.

i just tapped all the buttons radiply and i got over 600. Easy
