Many thanks Kevin, I’m getting my teeth into this chilling score now. Jack Palance was one of my favourite actors and I loved the film, but I didn’t remember the music, so it’s great to hear it again. Apparently the composer Robert Cobert is still alive and was at an event in Los Angeles at the end of April celebrating his 90th birthday.
By coincidence, Christopher Lee narrated an album of Dracula and other Hammer horrors with spine-chilling sounds and music in the same year as this TV film:
